Ironwork recycled for the war effort

In 2013, we photographed evidence of missing ironwork at Queen's University, Belfast. This wall surrounds the perimeter of the university complex. Evidence suggests the removal of iron fencing during the Second World War as part of the government's drive to re-use metal for the war effort.
