High Street, Belfast

During Wings For Victory Savings Week in 1943, a Short Stirling and a Handley Page Halifax stood in an area of High Street, Belfast cleared following the Blitz.

Rubble strewn plots, frames of buildings, and large cleared areas remain at the junction of High Street and Bridge Street months after the Luftwaffe attacks on Belfast city centre.
