Private Jose B. Baca (38012836) served in 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd (Indianhead) Infantry Division, United States Army during the Second World War. He was born on 1st June 1917 in San Miguel County, New Mexico, U.S.A.

Baca died on 4th April 1944 aged 26 years old as a result of an incident crossing a stream or river in Northern Ireland.

Burial first took place at Lisnabreeny American Military Cemetery, Belfast. After the war, Baca was repatriated to Plot U, Row 0, Grave 274 of Santa Fe National Cemtery, Santa Fe, New Mexico, U.S.A.
