Private George A. Beigel (32033676) served in 13th Armored Regiment, 1st Armored Division, United States Army during the Second World War. He was born in 1913 in Tonawanda, Erie County, New York, U.S.A.

George enlisted on 12th February 1941 in Buffalo, New York, U.S.A. Before the war, he worked as an office clerk. Beigel died on 6th July 1942 aged 28 years old in Northern Ireland at 5th (Harvard) General Hospital, Musgrave Park, Belfast.

Burial first took place on 9th July 1942 at Glenalina Extension, ES, 62 of Belfast City Cemetery. A reburial later took place at Lisnabreeny American Military Cemetery, Belfast. After the war, Beigel was repatriated to Plot F, Row 3, Grave 44 of Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridgeshire, England.
