Rowland William Briggs

Rowland William Briggs was one of four members of the family killed at 47 Veryan Gardens on the outskirts of Belfast during heavy Luftwaffe bombing in 1941.

Civilian Rowland William Briggs was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. He lived with his parents Leonard Briggs Sr. and Jeanetta Briggs, and brothers Leonard Briggs Jr. and James Briggs at 47 Veryan Gardens, Greencastle, Co. Antrim at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.

Rowland William Briggs died on 16th April 1941 aged 8 years old at 47 Veryan Gardens, Greencastle, Co. Antrim.
