Roberta Campbell

Roberta "Ruth" Campbell was one of four members of the family killed at 89 Lilliput Street, Belfast during the raid on the night of 15th-16th April 1941.

Civilian Roberta “Ruth” Campbell was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. She lived with her parents John Campbell and Martha Campbell, sisters Elizabeth May “Lily” Campbell and Margaret Christina Campbell, and brother Arthur McLean Campbell at 89 Lilliput Street, Belfast at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.

Roberta “Ruth” Campbell died on 16th April 1941 aged 4 years old at 89 Lilliput Street, Belfast. Roberta “Ruth” Campbell’s grave is with her brother Arthur McLean Campbell, and sisters Elizabeth May “Lily” Campbell, and Margaret Christina Campbell at Carnmoney Cemetery, Carnmoney, Co. Antrim. A funeral service took place at 1100hrs on 19th April 1941 from Messrs. Thomas Johnston’s Rest Room, 43 Bedford Street, Belfast.
