Eleanor Beaulieu

Eleanor Beaulieu departed from Belfast on the ill-fated S.S. Athenia on 1st September 1939 with her mother Mary Beaulieu and brother John Beualieu. Her address given on boarding documents was Blaris, Lisburn, Co. Antrim and she appeared under a list of American and Canadian residents sailing in Third Class.

Eleanor, aged 1 year old, survived the sinking and landed with her mother, brother, and fellow survivors on board the Norwegian steamer Knut Nelson at Galway, Ireland on 5th September 1939.
