Driver Patrick Thomas Irvine (1901296) served in No. 1014 Docks Operating Company, Royal Engineers during the Second World War. He was the son of John Williams Irvine and Mary Irvine (née McCready) of Liverpool, Lancashire, England, and the husband of Edith Jane Irvine of Belfast.

Driver Irvine died on 1st August 1945 aged 29 years old. His grave is in Section XII, Row F, Grave 1 of Bari War Cemetery, Italy. His headstone bears the inscription:

Called to the higher presence of Christ.
