Major Henri Irvin Beall (O-438358) served in 311th Ferry Squadron, 27th Air Transport Group, 8th Air Force, United States Army Air Force during the Second World War. He was born on 12th September 1897 in Asheville, North Carolina, U.S.A.

Beall had served during The Great War of 1914-1918. In civilian life, his employer was the Art Publishing Co. at 2509 West Cermak Road, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.

Beall died on 4th March 1944 aged 46 years old while serving as a passenger on B-26C #41-34893. The plane crashed shortly after take-off from Maghaberry Airfield, Co. Antrim due to a mechanical failure in one of the engines.

Burial first took place at Lisnabreeny American Military Cemetery, Belfast. After the war, Beall was repatriated to Plot C 039 of Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Hogansville, Troup County, Georgia, U.S.A.
