Civilian Stephen Costello was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. He lived with his mother Catherine Costello, and sister Mary Ann Costello at 77 Sussex Street, Belfast at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.

He was the son of the late Peter Costello. Stephen Costello died on 16th April 1941 aged 4 years old at Sussex Street, Belfast. A funeral service took place at 1130hrs on 19th April 1941 from St. Paul’s Church, Falls Road, Belfast.
