Stoker 2nd Class William McIntyre (D/KX 135973) served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William McIntyre, and the stepson of Mary McIntyre of Portstewart, Co. Londonderry.

McIntyre died on 5th September 1942 aged 28 years old, while serving at H.M.S. Attack, a shore base at Portland, Dorset, England. He may have been on Motor Gun Boat MGB 13 at his time of death. McIntyre’s grave is in Section M.A., Grave 149 of Ramsgate Cemetery, Kent, England.
