Ordinary Seaman Thomas Henry McGibbon (P/UD/X 1391) served in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve during the Second World War. He was the son of Henry McGibbon and Sarah Ann McGibbon of Rushfield Avenue, Belfast.
Ordinary Seaman McGibbon died on 14th October 1939 aged 27 years old while serving on H.M.S. Royal Oak. He has no known grave and his name is on Panel 36, Column 2 of the Portsmouth Naval Memorial, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.
