Able Seaman James William McBride (D/JX 171072) served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War. He was the son of Robert McBride and Cissie McBride of Belfast.

Able Seaman McBride died on 4th May 1945 aged 19 years old while serving on H.M.S. Offa. He has no known grave and his name is on Panel 94, Column 1 of the Plymouth Naval Memorial, Plymouth, Devon, England.
