Able Seaman William Hugh Jackson (D/JX 156447) served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War. He was the son of Peter Jackson and Eliza A. Jackson of Ballyclare, Co. Antrim.

Able Seaman Jackson died on 5th April 1942 aged 29 years old while serving on H.M.S. Dorsetshire. He has no known grave and his name is on Panel 65, Column 2 of the Plymouth Naval Memorial, Plymouth, Devon, England.
