Boy 1st Class Edward Stanley McCorkell (D/JX 180584) served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War. He was the son of Charles McCorkell and Anna McCorkell of Strabane, Co. Tyrone.
Boy 1st Class McCorkell died on 5th April 1942 aged 17 years old while serving on H.M.S. Dorsetshire. He has no known grave and his name is on Panel 67, Column 3 of the Plymouth Naval Memorial, Plymouth, Devon, England.
