James Black of Barbour Street in Greencastle, Co. Antrim was one of six members of the family who died as a result of the Belfast Blitz on 5th May 1941.

Civilian James Black was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz during the Second World War. He lived with his mother Annie Black, and sisters Hessie Black, Eva Black, Evelyn Black, and Hazel Black at 18 Barbour Street, Greencastle, Co. Antrim at the time of the Luftwaffe attack on the city.
He was the son of the late Francis Black. James Black died on 5th May 1941 aged 12 years old at 18 Barbour Street, Greencastle, Co. Antrim.
