Private Kenneth Lawrence Shaw (13058748) served in No. 173 Company, The Pioneer Corps during the Second World War. He was the son of Harry Glynn Shaw and Marjory Kathleen Shaw of Chadwell Heath, Essex, England.

Private Shaw died on 5th May 1941 aged 23 years old. His place of death was Mater Hospital, Belfast where he received treatment following the attack on No. 24 (London) General Hospital at Campbell College, Belfast. The East Belfast military hospital sustained heavy damage during the Fire Raid of the Belfast Blitz.

His grave is in Glenalina Extension, Section AS, Grave 104 of Belfast City Cemetery, Belfast. His headstone bears the inscription:

He that hath clean hands and a pure heart. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord.
