Gunner Edward O’Neill (3765021) served in 6th Battery, 3rd Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery during the Second World War. He was the son of John O’Neill and Mary Jane O’Neill of Derry~Londonderry, and the husband of Margaret O’Neill of Liverpool, England.

Gunner O’Neill died on 2nd May 1941 aged 37 years old as a result of an accident. His grave is in Section M, Class D, Grave 1738 of Derry City Cemetery, Derry~Londonderry. A funeral service took place from his brother’s residence at 11 Walker’s Place, Derry~Londonderry on 9th May 1941.
