Serjeant James MacDonald (1070846) served in 30th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery during the Second World War. He was the son of Thomas MacDonald and Elizabeth MacDonald of Armagh, Co. Armagh.

Serjeant MacDonald died on 1st June 1940 aged 33 years old. He has no known grave and his name is on Column 8 of the Dunkirk Memorial, France.
