Fusilier Samuel McFarland (6984390) served in 70th Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers during the Second World War. He was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz. He was the son of Alexander McFarland and Elizabeth Margaret McFarland of Clogherney, Beragh, Co. Tyrone. Samuel McFarland died on 16th April 1941 aged 19 years old at Newtownards Airfield, Newtownards, Co. Down.
His grave is in Cloghernry Church of Ireland Churchyard, Beragh, Co. Tyrone.
