Fusilier Matthew Wright (6984533) served in 70th Battalion Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers during the Second World War. He was a fatal casualty of the Belfast Blitz. He was the son of Matthew Wright and Mary A. Wright of Coleraine, Co. Londonderry. Matthew Wright died on 17th April 1941 aged 18 years old.
His grave is in Grave 462 of St. Mary’s Church of Ireland Churchyard, Macosquin, Co. Londonderry. His headstone bears the inscription:
