Serjeant William George Lavelle (6977351) served in 2nd Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers during the Second World War. He was the son of Moses Lavelle and Martha Lavelle of Augher, Co. Tyrone.
Serjeant Lavelle died on 17th January 1944 aged 31 years old. His grave is in Section III, Row D, Grave 18 of Minturno War Cemetery, Italy. His headstone bears the inscription:
