Fusilier James Maguire (6979589) served in 2nd Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers during the Second World War. He was the son of James Maguire and Mary Maguire of Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh.
Fusilier Maguire died on 18th January 1944 aged 22 years old. His grave is in Section I, Row K, Grave 18 of Minturno War Cemetery, Italy. His headstone bears the inscription:
Peacefully sleeping free from pain in God’s own time we shall meet again.
