Thomas Lyttle

Fusilier Thomas Lyttle of Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh died on 10th January 1943 as 1st Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers engaged the enemy in Burma.

Fusilier Thomas Lyttle (6978152) served in 1st Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers during the Second World War. He was the son of James Thomas Lyttle and Sarah Lyttle of Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh.

Fusilier Lyttle died on 10th January 1943 aged 28 years old. At this time C Company, 1st Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers had engaged the enemy on an advance in the Donbaik area during the Arakan Campaign in Burma.

Fusilier Lyttle has no known grave and his name is on Face 11 of the Rangoon Memorial, Myanmar.
