Private Thomas Price (4036408) served in 9th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment during the Second World War. He was the son of Thomas Price and Agnes Price of Brierley Hill, Staffordshire, England.

Private Price died on 5th May 1941 aged 23 years old during The Fire Raid of the Belfast Blitz. 9th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment were based at Victoria Park in East Belfast. Price’s place of death was nearby at East Twin Island.

His grave is in North West Corner, Row 7, Grave 2 of St. Michael Churchyard, Brierly Hill, Staffordshire, England. His headstone bears the inscription:

For everyone he did his best. God has granted him eternal rest.
