Sergeant Norman Victor Henderson served in 2nd Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles during World War Two. He lived in Copperfield Street, Belfast, Co. Antrim.

Sergeant Norman Victor Henderson served in 2nd Battalion Royal Ulster Rifles during World War Two. He was born in 1902 in Belfast, Co. Antrim and enlisted in the 1920s.

Before the war, Norman married Lena Henderson and the couple had a son also called Norman Victor Henderson. The son was born in 1937. The Henderson family lived at 49 Copperfield Street, Belfast, Co. Antrim.

In the King’s birthday honours in 1940, he received the Military Medal for his service in Dunkirk, France.

Norman Victor Henderson died on 10th December 1973. His family scattered his ashes in the Garden of Remembrance at Roselawn Cemetery, Belfast, Co. Antrim.
