Corporal Leon Guglielmazzi (13058545) served in the Pioneer Corps during World War Two. He perished in Campbell College Military Hospital on 5th May 1941 during a Luftwaffe raid.

Guglielmazzi died on 5th May 1941, one of nineteen patients and staff who died in the Blitz raid on Campbell College Military Hospital, Belfast. He was 25 years old. Leon Guglielmazzi served at the No. 24 British General Hospital based at the Belfast grammar school. This was the last raid on Belfast in what was known as Belfast Blitz.

The funeral took place on 10th May 1941. Corporal Leon Guglielmazzi’s grave is in Glenalina Extension, Section AS, Grave 103 of Belfast City Cemetery, Belfast, Co. Antrim.
