Leo Scop was a leading member of the Belfast Jewish Community in the 1940s. He was one of three men to lease a farm in Millisler to help Jewish children.

Leo Scop was a leading member of the Belfast Jewish Community who helped secure a lease of Lawrence Gorman's farm in Millisle, Co. Down.

Leo Scop was a member of the Belfast Jewish Community and part of the Refugee Aid Committee.

In May 1939, he, along with Barney Hurwitz and Maurice Solomon leased 70-acre derelict farm in Millisle, Co. Down for 20-years. This farm at Ballyrolly House, Millisle, Co. Down would be a safe-haven to many Jewish Kindertransport Children fleeing persecution in Europe.
