Leo Scop was a leading member of the Belfast Jewish Community who helped secure a lease of Lawrence Gorman's farm in Millisle, Co. Down.

Leo Scop was a member of the Belfast Jewish Community and part of the Refugee Aid Committee.

In May 1939, he, along with Barney Hurwitz and Maurice Solomon leased a 70-acre derelict farm in Millisle, Co. Down. This farm at Ballyrolly House, Millisle, Co. Down would be a safe-haven to many Jewish Kindertransport Children fleeing persecution in Europe.
