John Graham Logan

Leading Aircraftman John Graham Logan of Belfast, Co. Antrim died on 26th March 1942 while serving with Auxiliary Air Force 949 Balloon Barrage Squadron.

Leading Aircraftman John Graham Logan (632192) served in the Auxiliary Air Force during World War Two. He was the only son of John Logan and Martha Logan of 72 Kansas Avenue, Belfast, Co. Antrim.

He died on 26th March 1942 aged 20 years old while serving with Auxiliary Air Force 949 Barrage Balloon Squadron. Before the war, he worked as a clerk in Belfast, Co. Antrim.

John Graham Logan’s grave is in Section AB, Grave 156 of Carnmoney Cemetery, Newtownabbey, Co. Antrim. His headstone bears the inscription:

Man born of the great forever lives on, God crowned and blessed.
