Private Henry James Nixon (13118118) served in No. 53 Company, The Pioneer Corps during the Second World War. Known as Harry, he was the son of James W. Nixon and Sarah Jane Nixon of Ardkeen, Carnalea, Co. Down, and the husband of Ruby Nixon of 14 Beech Street, Belfast.
Private Nixon died as a result of an accident in Germany on 4th October 1945 aged 36 years old. His grave is in Section 1A, Row F, Grave 7 of Hamburg Cemetery, Germany.
