Able Seaman Edward Close of Banbridge, Co. Down died on 20th March 1945 when U-968 launched a torpedo attack on Convoy JW-65 sinking the Sloop HMS Lapwing.
Nursing Sister Eliza Jane Mehaffey of Strabane, Co. Tyrone died on 18th July 1943 while on a flight back to H.M.S. Coromorant II naval base in Gibraltar.
Petty Officer Ernest Wills of Lisburn, Co. Antrim died on 27th April 1941 when Royal Navy Destroyer HMS Diamond came under attack during a rescue mission.
Able Seaman George Henry McCleery of Belfast died in the Mediterranean on 22nd May 1941 when the Luftwaffe bombed HMS Gloucester during the Battle of Crete.
Leading Seaman George Hicks of Belfast, Co. Antrim died on board HMS Mahratta when the Destroyer went down after an attack by U-990 on 25th February 1944.
Able Seaman George Sleator of Armagh, Co. Armagh died on 20th February 1944 when HMS Warwick came under attack from a Nazi U-Boat off the coast of Cornwall.

Leading Seaman Herbert Mason Jordan served in the Royal Navy during the war. He died on 5th April 1946 and is commemorated at Fitzroy Presbyterian Church.
