On 16th September 2016, Northern Ireland War Memorial held a Belfast Blitz 75 event as part of a city-wide Culture Night. The evening included music and dance.

On 17th September 1941 and 1942, a War Office photographer captured soldiers farming in Co. Antrim and taking part in a plane recognition course in Co. Down.

On 19th September 1941, Valentine Tanks rolled through the town of Ballymena, Co. Antrim. One year on, an Ulster Home Guard Motor Boat Patrol took to the water.
