St. Patrick’s Barracks, Ballymena, Co. Antrim

During the Second World War, British and American troops used St. Patrick's Barracks, Ballymena, Co. Antrim, which had been home to the Royal Ulster Rifles.

On 8th November 1940, after less than three months training, new recruits were on parade before photographers at St. Patrick's Barracks, Ballymena, Co. Antrim.
