The Translink Glider Tour
Translink Glider is a new mode of transport connecting West Belfast to East Belfast through the city centre. Launching in September 2018, it will deliver regular bus services across Belfast.
WartimeNI is not in any way connected to Translink or the promotion of the Glider service. This imagined tour only serves as a guide to some sites relating to World War Two and the Belfast Blitz that you can find along the way.
As the new bus service passes through West Belfast, along the Stewartstown Road, Andersonstown Road, and Falls Road, you will notice several sites of interest.
Milltown Cemetery, Falls Road, Belfast, Co. Antrim
Milltown Cemetery in Belfast, Co. Antrim has become synonymous with Irish Nationalism and Republicanism but people from all walks of life are buried here.
