Progress work at Larne Harbour and the building of bridges for Exercise Judy were among the photos of Lieutenant Bainbridge on 7th September throughout the war.

Larne Harbour

On 7th September 1941, work was underway on the new jetty at Larne Harbour and Lieutenant J.R. Bainbridge documented the progress to date for Colonel Gage.

South Staffordshire Regiment at Whitehead, Co. Antrim

On 7th September 1941, members of 15th Battalion, South Staffordshire Regiment leapt from an Armored Rail Trolley for a photoshoot at Whitehead, Co. Antrim.

8th Railway Construction and Operating Company

Also in Whitehead, Co. Antrim on 7th September 1941 were members of 8th Railway Construction and Operating Company demonstrating the use of a converted trolley.

Dry Bailey Bridges

On 7th September 1943, Lieutenant J.R. Bainbridge photographed Dry Bailey Bridges constructed by the army near Newferry, Co. Antrim as part of Exercise Judy.
