On 25th March 1941, tanks rolled through the Co. Armagh countryside. Two years later, new army recruits were tested at a barracks in Ballymena, Co. Antrim.
On 25th March 1941, 2nd Battalion Fife and Forfar Yeomanry took part in a training exercise in Co. Armagh after a short tea break at Derrymore House, Bessbrook.
On 25th March 1943, new recruits to the British Army were put through their paces with a range of tests at a Primary Training Centre in Ballymena, Co. Antrim.
