During the Second World War, victory in the Battle of the Atlantic was of great importance to the Allies. Northern Ireland played a key role in its outcome.

Convoy Escorts

Between 16th - 22nd February 1941, a photographer from the Belfast Telegraph captured a series of photos of Corvettes on duty escorting a convoy in the North Atlantic.
